Slow, calm, deep breathing can help us relax, manage stress, relieve anxiety and depression, and get a goodnights sleep. Deep breathing can be done anywhere at anytime. It is a perfect way to signal the body that it is safe to relax.

Our healthy habit challenge for this month is relaxation breathing. It begins:

  • Today Monday, October 10 and runs through October 16.

Mark yes to 5 out of 7 days when you practice relaxation breathing to complete the challenge but aim for all seven days for better health.
