Let’s Celebrate National Nutrition Month!

Eat Right, bite by bite.

Good nutrition doesn’t have to be restrictive or overwhelming. Small goals and changes can make a lasting effect. Every little bit, or bite, of nutrition, is a step in the right direction.

Vary your diet – eat a variety of healthy foods every day. Meal planning – enjoy healthy eating at work, school, and home. Cook & Prep – create tasty meals to share and enjoy. Start small – try whole-grain foods instead of refined grain foods. Emphasize Fruits & Veggies – mix vegetables into your go-to dishes. Healthy snacks – change your snacks to carrots, orange slices, or nuts.

As a gift from the Wellness department, each employee is given a reusable bag. This bag is great for keeping food fresh. You can use it in the microwave, freezer, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Bring your favorite snack or lunch to work in it.

Not only are we saving our bodies but the planet too. Eat right!
