Change in RISE Assessment Vendor

Members of the Utah State Board of Education voted to terminate the 10-year, $44 million contract with Questar Thursday June 6, 2019. 

As part of the vote, the board directed education staffers to seek a short-term contract with another assessment provider that can administer tests for next school year. the assessment provider selected is American Institute for Research (AIR). AIR was awarded a 3 year contract to provide a platform for administering the state’s RISE test for grades 3 – 8 starting school year 2019-20.

Due to this change, any RISE link associated with Questar is no longer valid.
