UCET Innovative Teacher of the Year

The Utah Coalition for Educational Technology (UCET) is planning to recognize an Innovative Teacher of the Year for each district in the state at their conference this spring, and we invite you to nominate someone from your school. UCET is looking for “front-line classroom teachers who continue to envision new ways to instruct, connect and learn together in their classrooms. One teacher in each district will be recognized as a UCET Innovative Teacher for 2023 at the UCET conference on March 14, 2023, and receive a $100 gift card.” We know this is PD Day, so we will work on the details of ensuring that the winning teacher is recognized.

The criteria for the Innovative Teacher Award are:

• Full-time classroom teacher in the 2022-23 school year
• Innovativeness/novelty in approach
• Evidence of contribution to student learning
