Insert or delete images & videos in google slides and docs

You can add or remove photos, videos, or .gif files in Google Docs or Sheets. In Google Slides you can add photos, videos, or audio. To help plan your presentation, you can also add image placeholders.

  • On your computer, open a presentation in Google Slides
  • Click the slide where you want to add the video
  • Click Insert Video
  • Select where to get your video from:By URL
  • Choose a video
  • Click Select

Tips Corner – Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Select all text: Ctrl + A: Cmd + A
  • Copy text: Ctrl + C; Cmd + C
  • Find text: Ctrl + F; Cmd + F
  • Paste text: Ctrl + V; Cmd + V
  • Cut text: Ctrl + X; Cmd + X
  • New Document: Ctrl + N; Cmd + N
  • Save file: Ctrl + S; Cmd + S
  • Undo: Ctrl + Z; Cmd + Z
