Cooperative writing is any sort of group activity that requires more than one person to write a finished product. Cooperative writing strategies help students gain confidence in their writing, practice writing skills with their peers, and see new ways of using language from their classmates. Some research suggests that students create better writing in groups than on their own!
All units in the Vista program have writing practice. Turn one of those practices into cooperative writing with one of these activities!
Looking for more grammar practice for your students? In Get Ready, you can find additional grammar worksheets for each unit in the Activity Pack (found under Resources). In Bridges, extra practice can be found in the practice book. You can copy these pages or assign them online through vhl.
WIDA ACCESS scores for this year should be available to view on May 4!
