Secondary ELA Webinar Series

USBE offers a monthly webinar series for secondary ELA teachers to learn best practices for supporting students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, and thinking through evidence-based instructional practices and implementation of the new Utah ELA standards. April’s webinar is called “Writing Remixed: Composing in Digital and Multimodal Genres” and will be presented by Dr. Amber Jensen from BYU. The webinar will be on March 18 from 4-5 PM; those who cannot attend live will receive a webinar recording. Teachers have the option to receive 0.5 USBE credits by watching the webinars and completing a Canvas course.
