Secondary ELA Webinar: AI and Writing

USBE offers a monthly webinar series for secondary ELA teachers to learn best practices for supporting students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, and thinking through evidence-based instructional practices and implementation of the new Utah ELA standards.

February’s webinar is called “Let’s Talk About the Robot in the Room: AI & Writing” and will be presented by Matt Winters, a senior technology trainer from UEN.

The webinar will be on January 22 from 4-5 PM; those who cannot attend live will receive a webinar recording. Teachers have the option to receive 0.5 USBE credits by watching the webinars and completing a Canvas course.
