Secondary Literacy Committee Meeting held Monday, October 16, 2023

The committee has begun to identify specific criteria and categories from last year’s Needs Assessment document to create a rubric that will be used to evaluate curricular programs.

Although we started to build the rubric from scratch, committee members suggested modifying existing rubrics to fit our specific needs instead.

All committee members will review the existing rubrics with their representative groups (schools, grade levels, etc.) for feedback, then submit their modifications to Tani Brown by November 13. Tani and Becky Thomas will combine those submissions and prepare a rubric draft for committee review at our next meeting on November 20.
