RISE Science Cluster Writer Workshop

The RISE Cluster Writing Workshop is offering an opportunity for fourth and fifth-grade educators. This fall, RISE is offering a science cluster development workshop. Content specialists will provide training to help the meeting participants identify quality test content that meets Utah’s standards.

Participants will receive a $150/day stipend for the workshop and 8 re-licensure points/day. Breaks and time for lunch are scheduled.

There are a limited number of spots available, so if you’re interested please complete the survey below soon! You will be notified if you have been selected to participate by September 21. If you do not get a response, then you were not selected.

RISE Science Cluster Writer Workshop Details:

Date: Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16  Time: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Location: Virtual Note: We ask that participants attend both days of the workshop

The Science Cluster Writing Workshop provides educators with the opportunity to generate clusters that may appear on future administrations of the RISE science summative assessments. Participants will generate test clusters that may be field-tested during the 2020-2021 RISE summative test administration.
