Each year, the choirs from Centennial Middle, Dixon Middle, Provo High, and Timpview High join forces to bring a choral masterwork to life. This year, the choirs will be performing Gabriel Faure’s “Requiem in D minor”. Composed in 1890, this 7 movement work for choir, orchestra, and organ is shortened setting of the Catholic mass for the dead. Faure once said, “My Requiem wasn’t written for anything – for pleasure, if I may call it that!” It’s focus on rest and consolation reaches far beyond the setting it was originally written for and touches hearts of all people, regardless of faith or creed.

The concert will be held:

  • 7pm 
  • Provo High Auditorium
  • Admission is free, no ticket required. Donations accepted
