P-12 Mathematics Standards Writing Committee Application

The USBE Maths team– Cristina Barrera, Molly Basham, Trish French, and Lindsey Henders– are excited to report that Step 4 of the Utah State Board of Education’s approved standards revision process is complete! Step 4 is the convening of the Standards Review Committee that was populated by recommendations from the Utah State Legislature and the Chair of the Utah State Board of Education.

The Review Committee will be presenting their recommendations at the full board meeting scheduled for January 11th, 2024.

Once the review committee recommendations are approved by the board (Step 5) we will move to step 6:

If you are interested in applying to be considered for the P-12 Mathematics Standards Writing Committee, the deadline is fast approaching. Plan for about 45 mins to complete the application and have a current resume/CV handy.
