Is your student ready to experience a career? Have they completed a pathway and now want to gain real-world experience and professional connections? Consider having your junior or senior enroll in one of the work-based learning opportunities listed below.
Provides students a chance to work with a mentor on-site at a business location and see the day-to-day activities associated with a career. Internships are available in a variety of career areas. Students are required to provide their own transportation to the internship site. Internship is a semester-long class that takes one period in a student’s schedule.
Provides a unique opportunity for students to work in teams on real projects for local businesses. Projects are in the following areas:
Transportation is provided for students participating in Provo CAPS. CAPS is a semester-long course that takes two class periods (currently periods 3A and 4A).
