In April 2023, the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) approved new P-12 English Language Arts standards, and full statewide implementation of the English Language Arts (ELA) Standards will be during the 2023-2024 school year. Teachers will find the new standards in the below PDF document.
USBE is offering optional information sessions about the new standards and implementation. Information about the remaining sessions can be found on the attached flyer. USBE will also offer office hours monthly to help teachers implement the new standards.
