Middle Level Math Endorsement

Nebo School District has partnered with the UVU Math Department to offer all courses for the Middle Level Math endorsement in their district. All courses are reimbursable through the STEM EIP grant and are geared towards working teachers. Nebo is wanting to start a second cohort this summer, but do not have enough Nebo teachers to carry the courses. They would like to open this opportunity up to any teachers in Provo District who might be interested.

Nebo has also found that many SpEd teachers might want this endorsement because it allows them to be highly qualified and eligible for the TSSP. The only difference between this endorsement and the SpEd Math endorsement is one methods course, Special Education Math Course for Secondary Teaching instead of the Middle School/Secondary Mathematics Teaching Methods Course.
