Micro STEM Fest

The Micro STEM Fest Kit is a “pop up” event kit with 10 stations that provide fun and exciting STEM activities that challenge young students to work together to learn STEM.

The kit activities are designed for 1st grade – 4th grade students to have the stations run by older students (5th or 6th grade) with simple instructions to prepare the older student “mentors” to run the stations. The materials are easy to set up and take down, packed neatly into portable bins.

PCSD’s Innovative Learning Department has a set of Micro STEM Fest kits available for check out! Schools may check them out for up to 2 weeks. Take a sneak peek at the stations available here. 

Contact Amy Rosenvall to set up a training for your students; she will come and teach your entire 5th or 6th grade classes on how to run the event. After that you can opt to have your students host a Micro STEM Fest for other grades. (K-4th grade teachers encourage the upper grades to participate in this super engaging and delightfully Science & Engineering Micro STEM Fest!)
