HB 489-Extra Pay Opportunity Deadline

Educators in Provo City School District are eligible to receive additional pay for additional work as outlined in HB 489 (Formally HB 396). According to HB 489, Provo City School District has determined that $1440 will be paid upon completion of 32 professional hours to enhance professional skills and improve student achievement. Educators must compose and review a plan of action with their administrator by the 5th day of instruction, August 22nd. Completion of the Google form shared with you by your administrator is the first step in the approval process. Those who successfully complete their plan will be compensated in December 2023 or May 2024, whichever the educator chooses.
