Global Education Allies (GEA) has taken hundreds of educators on professional development experiences in Finland and the Scandinavia/Baltic region, to East Africa, and Southeast Asia and China over the past five years. Our main goal is to explore unique education systems around the world and have educators learn from each other, and develop professionally.

GEA’s next program to East Africa will take place in June/July 2020, and the next program to Finland will take place in late July/early August 2020. We’d love for you to consider joining us for one of our affordable and life-changing experiences. The main program in Rwanda or Finland is $1595 + airfare. Both programs have additional pre- and post-trip opportunities that the vast majority of our participants attend as well.

GEA is also celebrating its five-year anniversary by hosting a conference in Washington, DC on February 18, 2020 in conjunction with a program they are leading of Finnish educators to the East Coast, USA. GEA Alumni and US educators will be invited to attend this one-day event, “Global Lessons from Education Allies,” and/or join the Finnish educators with pre- and/or post-trip visits to Boston or NYC, in addition to a main program in DC that takes place before and after the conference.
