This year the PCSD Foundation is expanding its Teacher Mini Grant program.  Any employee of Provo City School District can now apply for a grant and the grants are not limited to $500.   The purpose of the grants is to fund projects that directly enhance learning opportunities for students.

If you would like to apply for a grant, the process is simple, all you need to do is fill out the below Google form before October 18, 2023.  Grant winners will be notified mid November.

Purpose

The mission of the Provo City School District Foundation is to elevate students’ success in the Provo City School District by funding education opportunities for students and educators from community donations.  The Foundation’s grants assist employees in providing funding for creative and innovative student learning.  Grant projects should enrich standard curriculum and directly enhance learning opportunities for students.

Grant Awards

Employees may apply individually or in groups.  Grant recipients will be notified by mid November 2023.   Funding for projects must be spent by May 2024.  Any items purchased with grant money are for the school or department you are with now, and not for any one individual.  These items will remain at your current school/department.

Eligibility

Any employee in the Provo City School District is eligible to apply for a Foundation Grant.

Grant Evaluation

Grant applications will be reviewed and evaluated by the Provo School District Foundation selection committee.  To ensure impartiality, the committee will not see the names of the employee or the school/department involved.  Grant recipients will be required to submit a brief written report to the Foundation Board  describing the project’s outcomes and how the funds were used.  Do not attached additional papers to the application.

Deadline

Applications must be received on or before October 18, 2023.
