Final Secondary ELA Webinar for 2023-2024

USBE offers a monthly webinar series for secondary ELA teachers to learn best practices for supporting students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, and thinking through evidence-based instructional practices and implementation of the new Utah ELA standards.

The final webinar for the year is called “Restoring Humanity to Striving Adolescent Readers” and will be presented by state-level secondary ELA leaders from four states.

The webinar will be on May 8 from 4-5 PM; those who cannot attend live will receive a webinar recording. Teachers have the option to receive 0.5 USBE credits by watching the webinars and completing a Canvas course.
