Literacy Summer Training for K-6 Teachers

Elementary teachers are invited to attend an optional summer Literacy Training for their grade levels. Each grade level session will feature Dr. Jan Dole & Dr. Kerry Herman, reading experts from the University of Utah.

The trainings will focus on evidenced-based learning strategies and using the Wonders core curriculum in literacy instruction.

Grade level trainings will all be held from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Teachers will be paid the hourly curriculum rate for their participation and lunch will be provided. • Kindergarten: June 5th at the GTC
• 1st Grade: May 30th at the GTC
• 2nd Grade: June 12th at the PDC
• 3rd Grade: June 19th at the GTC
• 4th Grade: June 20th at the PDC
• 5th & 6th Grades: June 24th at the PDC
