Distress and Interventions in Mathematics is a workshop series that will be facilitated by Dr. Rachel Bachman of Weber State University and Amy Henderson, LCSW. In this workshop series, K-12 mathematics teachers will come to understand what distress looks like in themselves and students, why distress matters when learning, and how interventions help navigate distress common in the learning environment.

The workshop highlights practical tools to use in K-12 mathematics classrooms, and offer time to practice interventions personally and rehearse leading these interventions for others.

Save the Date! The class will meet virtually every other Thursday between 1/19/23 and 5/11/23.
