Please be aware that the procedure for gift cards has changed (see Policy 6210). Gift cards cannot be purchased for employees to spend for their classrooms/offices or any other district purchases. The end use of a gift card should always be non-district related. Gift cards may still be purchased for employee appreciation (see Policy 6270) or student incentives. If gift cards are purchased for employee or student incentives, please make sure you keep a log of who receives the gift cards. The log should contain the gift card amount, date and a signature of who received the gift card. If it is a student, the student name, amount and principal’s signature is sufficient. Please refer to the Purchasing Procedure (6210) or contact the Business Office for any questions.
