Amplify Native Voices: Creating a Culturally-Sustaining Classroom is a combined professional development course and research study that aims to help teachers confidently integrate Native voices into their classrooms by providing a highly mentored experience. The K-12 course builds on your previous experiences and includes a research study to understand your journey in including Native perspectives.
The course offers opportunities for teachers to bring presentations by artists into their classrooms and shares resources to help all students feel a sense of belonging. The course is free and addresses teachers’ questions and concerns about effectively teaching Native American perspectives. There is a small fee for BYU credit.
