Under the direction of the Superintendent, all contracted employees who anticipate retiring at the end of the 2023-2024 school year are notified that anyone who formally confirms, in writing, their retirement plans on or before noon of December 18, 2023, will be eligible to receive two and one-half percent (2.5%) based on the employee’s gross annual contracted salary to be paid in a lump sum upon retirement from Provo City School District as an incentive for early retirement notifications. 

To qualify, interested employees must:

Complete the following documents and submit them to the Executive Director of Human Resources prior to noon on December 18, 2023

  1. Provo City School District Employee Retirement Request Planning Form
  2. Voluntary Retirement Acknowledgment Agreement and Waiver Form  Work the full 2023-2024 contract period; and Retire in June of 2024 All of the above qualifications must be met.
