The Division for Planetary Sciences of the American Astronomical Society, the nation’s most prestigious planetary science organization, will be holding its 49th Annual Meeting from October 15-20, 2017 at the Utah Valley Convention Center.
During the conference, we are providing a FREE Student Astronomy Outreach Event targeted towards middle and high school students. We would like to invite local student groups, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program participants, home schoolers, families, clubs, etc. to the event on Thursday, 19 October from either 10:30am – 12:00pm or 1:30pm-3:00pm.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on demonstrations and speak with world famous scientists and engineers at the forefront of astronomy research.
