The Utah School Counselor Association (USCA) named Monique Hadley, a counselor at Timpview High School, as the USCA Counselor of the Year 2017.
Hadley receives this ward on account of her outstanding service and contribution given to the students with whom she works and the schools at which she has worked. The Counselor of the Year award is given to one counselor for the state of Utah and is eligible for the National Counselor of the Year award.
“Monique has worked in our district for nearly nine years as a counselor,” Jared Ferguson, Provo City School District director of secondary programs and science, said. “During this time Monique consistently assisted, or lead on projects ranging from online CCR development to tutorial videos for parents and students on how to use our online 4-year plan and how to add class requests into our online scheduling request program.”
“Monique is passionate about her work, no matter what project she is able to help on. She sees it to its end with her best effort guiding the way,” Ferguson said.
Congratulations, Monique Hadley!
