Life can become quite complicated and challenging, especially in the last few years. Issues at work, family matters, and personal struggles have made an impact on our mental well-being. The Provo City School District recognizes these challenges and we want to help.

Beginning on November 1, 2024, we are excited to introduce our new Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This service is administered by Blomquist Hale and is available to all employees of Provo City School District, whether full-time, part-time, or regardless of benefits status.

What exactly is an EAP? It is a resource designed to help with a wide array of personal challenges. Counseling is available to help with concerns such as:

  • Marital and family issues
  • Stress, anxiety, or depression
  • Personal and emotional challenges
  • Grief or loss
  • Legal or financial difficulties
  • Substance abuse or addictions
  • Senior care planning

This service is completely free for all Provo City School District employees and their families, which includes anyone living in the household.

While many problems can be resolved in just a few sessions, some may require more time. Therefore, there is no limit on the number of sessions you can attend. Blomquist Hale offers 100% confidential counseling with a professional and friendly team. You can meet with a counselor either in person or virtually. They also have a convenient clinic located in Orem. Assistance is available around the clock, 24/7, with immediate crisis services provided.

Blomquist Hale also has a free app you can download. The app gives you direct access to mental health resources such as webinars, informational handouts, articles and more! Simply search Blomquist Hale on the app store.

To schedule an appointment call 1-800-926-9619 or you can schedule an appointment on the app.  If you have any questions, please reach out to your Wellness Manager or Cat Miner.
