Governor Spencer J. Cox has officially declared September 2024 as “American Founders and Constitution Month,” with September 17 recognized as “Constitution Day” in the State of Utah. This month offers a valuable opportunity for all residents to deepen their understanding of the Constitution. Schools are particularly encouraged to observe this occasion by reading directly from the United States Constitution and other primary sources, and by teaching the core principles of governance embodied in this historic document.
