Secondary ELA Webinar

USBE offers a monthly webinar series for secondary ELA teachers to learn best practices for supporting students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, and thinking through evidence-based instructional practices and implementation of the new Utah ELA standards. March’s webinar is called “Explicitly Teaching Listening Skills” and will be presented by Dr. Katie Alford from McKendree University.

The webinar will be on March 13 from 4-5 PM; those who cannot attend live will receive a webinar recording. Teachers have the option to receive 0.5 USBE credits by watching the webinars and completing a Canvas course.
