District Fine Arts Committee Meeting Summary

The Fine Arts Curriculum Review Committee (CRC) met for its first monthly meeting on Monday, September 18th, 2023.

There are currently 19 fine arts educators representing the voice of our K-12 fine arts teachers. This CRC is beginning Phase 1 of the fine arts curriculum review cycle, with the purpose of assessing the current state of arts instruction, curriculum, and learning in PCSD.

The service by our teacher representatives, as they connect with other fine arts teachers within our district, is essential as strengths and areas of need are identified. This teacher-driven committee is valuable in impacting the direction and sustainability of the fine arts programs in our district.
