Number Talks Workshop Series (Grades 4-6 Math)

Are you looking for ways to engage your students with number sense? Develop student discourse? Fill in gaps for student’s prior knowledge? Number Talks can help!

Come learn about a simple way to get students motivated to talk about their mathematical thinking and earn a stipend in the process! We will meet starting on Tuesday, September 26, 3:30-4:30 at the PDC. Our work is based on the books Making Number Talks Matter and Digging Deeper: Making Number Talks Matter Even More by Ruth Parker and Cathy Humphreys (both of which you will get copies).
