CUWP is one of 150+ national sites of the National Writing Project, and offers professional development for K-12 teachers across all subject areas around ways to engage in improving how we think about and teach writing.

This summer’s one-week professional development opportunity for teachers will be held at BYU June 12-16. CUWP Fellows Melissa Heaton, ELA teacher at Mapleton Junior High, and Craig Jeppson, social studies teacher at Wasatch High School, have teamed up to put together a fantastic summer workshop intended for K-12 teachers across all disciplines who are interested in improving their writing instruction and regaining their own confidence to write personally and professionally.
