Each year the Brigham Young Chapter of the Sons of Utah Pioneers sponsors an essay/creative project contest to encourage study of Utah pioneers. This program invites fourth-grade students to write an essay or create a project concerning an incident in the life of one of their pioneer ancestors, or an incident or feature of early Utah history.

Attached is information about and rules for the contest, as well as an entry form for the students. If you have any questions, please email Ruthann Snow (ruthanns@provo.edu).
