Why I Teach Weekly Feature

Welcome to a new school year. We hope everyone has had a fun summer. We are excited to have all our amazing faculty, staff and students back in our schools! Friday’s kick-off meeting gave us all a great reminder as to why we are here doing what we do every day and hopefully gave each of us a little inspiration and motivational boost for the new year.

This year in our Weekly Notification we will be doing a “Why I Teach” video feature from one of our employees. We hope this will be a fun way to remind, inspire, motivate and get to know each other. This weeks feature is Judy Rose. Judy Rose has been a classroom teacher for 22 years. Until this years, she has been teaching sixth grade at Lakeview. She is now our Math Curriculum Specialist. Judy loves the challenges of teaching and loves to see students progress from a desire to get it done, to a desire to do it well. Her students love her and want to do their best and her classroom is always fun to visit!
