  • Visits to the Capitol

The Capitol Preservation Board is thrilled to share good news about ongoing legislative transportation funding for tours during the 2019-2020 school year. The Capitol Preservation Board has received $250,000.00 to assist in reimbursement of transportation costs incurred by visiting the Utah State Capitol.

Educators may bring students to the Capitol during the legislative session, or anytime during the school year to join in a docent led tour, or a self-guided tour and request for reimbursement of transportation costs. Requests for reimbursement can be submitted to the Capitol Preservation

Board beginning on August 21, 2019 at 9:00 am. To submit a request, please fill out the request form on the Utah State Capitol Website

Requests will be accommodated on a first-come, first- served basis. To schedule a docent led tour, please fill out the for on the Utah State Capitol Website.
