The Utah State Board of Education (USBE) is seeking public comment on drafts of the state’s new supplemental science standards for Anatomy/Physiology, Genetics, Geology, Marine Biology/Oceanography, and Meteorology. Comments will be accepted through February 10, 2023.
These standards supplement the Utah Core Standards for Science and have been created to provide Utah educators with guidance on the specific knowledge and skills for students to learn when enrolled in these five courses. USBE staff is seeking public feedback to gather stakeholder input to guide finalizing these standards.
