Announcements

  • On the Legislative agenda this session: Civic Engagement funding, Resolution on the importance of Holocaust and Genocide education supported with funding.
  • Elementary (K-6) Social Studies Standards are up for review the committee will begin their work early 2020. USBE is looking elementary teachers to help. If you are interested in becoming involved in this process please email the PCSD Social Studies Curriculum Specialist Lindsay Baccus, lindsayb@provo.edu.

  • World History Association’s Annual Conference in SLC June 25-June 27. For this event, they are looking for World History teachers to sit on panel. The conference is free.
