Finding it hard to engage your students in meaningful mathematics experiences? We will be using the Citizen Math task bank (as well as others) to provide mathematics concepts in contexts that have been tested and proven to be relevant and interesting (yes interesting) to teenage learners. A lot of the Citizen Math tasks are presented in “current event” and Social Studies contexts–wouldn’t it be awesome to partner with your amazing Social Studies department and attend as a team?
Teaching with Tasks! is a synchronous and virtual learning opportunity.
