Brigham Young University, with funding from HHMI, has partnered with science and religious educators from across the country to offer an online workshop aimed at helping both science and religious educators address the topic of evolution in a culturally competent way that allows students to learn accurate science without threatening their faith.
We invite Biology and Religious educators to join us. The online asynchronous class opens February 22 with a culminating live Zoom Conference Friday, March 12th, 4:30-6:30 MST.
We only have room for 50 Biology teachers and 50 Religious leaders/educators. Attendees who fully complete the online module and participate in the Zoom event will receive a $150 Amazon Gift Card and a certificate of completion for Professional Development hours.
Please see the attached flyer for registration details and a registration link. We encourage you to invite religious educators in your area to join us, as well.
