The Provo City School District nurses will be offering CPR, AED and First Aid classes this summer.
The American Heart Association course lasts 4 hours and includes a 2-year certification for Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, AED, and First Aid. Morning and afternoon sessions are available. The cost is only $10.00 and many schools cover this cost for their staff. Please check with your school to see if the cost will be covered.
It is required that at least three people at each school be trained and certified in CPR and First Aid. Certification is recommended for all school staff, especially those who work with medically fragile students.
If you attended and were certified last summer (2016), your certification is still current.
All classes will be held at PROVO PEAKS ELEMENTARY, 665 East Center Street.
