Are you looking for Science Professional Development? The Utah Science Teaching Association and the USBE are collaborating to bring this science training to three locations in the state.

  • This is a two-day professional development for elementary teachers with three strands: K-2, 3-4, 5-6

With newer science standards, what shifts to instruction are expected? Come spend Friday afternoon and Saturday exploring how to implement the Science with Engineering Education (SEEd) Standards into instruction. In these sessions, you will investigate expectations of the SEEd standards, experience model lessons for your grade, identify shifts to instruction, discuss how to integrate literacy and science, and receive materials to help you teach science more effectively this year!

Each session:

  • Friday: 4:30-7:00 pm Saturday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • Cost for Participant: UtSTA Members $20 Non-members $35
  • Earn: 8.5 Relicensure points
