PLDs are Performance Level Descriptors. They are a tool used to help establish the cut scores for the RISE end-of-year assessments. Since grade 4 and 5 are being assessed for the first time, we need 12 educators to help finalize the PLDs for the standard setting workshop this summer. Participants in this workshop will be able to attend the summer standard setting workshop.

Here is the information about the workshop:

  • Dates: March 30, 2021
  • Time: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Stipend: $150

Who?: 4th and 5th grade educators, LEA/district science specialists.

Attendance for the entire day is required if you sign up for the workshop.

Due to restrictions, we will NOT be able to reimburse for substitutes during this workshop. Please do not sign up for the workshop unless you can make your own accommodations.

To sign up for the workshop, please follow this link and complete the survey by Monday, March 8, noon.

Note: We are requiring a personal/non-work email. This is to help facilitate the workshop online due to the many district restrictions regarding virtual connections.
