Welcome to the Provo City School District! We know that August is a very busy time for a new teacher, so we wanted to send out a reminder about the upcoming New Teacher Orientation on August 7th 8:00-4:00 pm. This meeting will take place at Provo High School, 1125 N University Ave.
The meeting will begin in the auditorium (South-East corner of the main building) and will involve some rotations throughout the building. At 2:30, you will be released to work at your schools or attend the benefits fair (check with school administration). Some principals will use this time to meet with you, while others are having you working in your rooms. Elementary Interns will stay at Provo High to meet with Supervisors.
Please bring your district ID and CACTUS ID with you to these meetings. If you have not had your photo taken for your school website and ID, please come ready to do so. You also may find it useful to have your district computer with you if you have one. Lunch will be provided by PEA.
Please contact Renae Deighton, renaed@provo.edu, if you have any questions and we look forward to meeting with you on August 7th.
