Provo City School District has created a hotline number for district parents and students to use during the school dismissal. The support hotline is for families whose children attend a school in Provo City School District and have questions or need assistance during the school dismissal. Please see the answers to the following questions for more information.

Support Hotline representatives are not emergency responders. In case of emergency, call 911. If you’re experiencing a mental health crisis, call the Suicide Prevention Hotline at (800) 273-8255. The hotline does not provide personal therapy or suicide assessments.
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
English and Spanish operators are readily available. An interpretation service will be utilized for other languages.
Depending on the nature of your call, you will be assisted by a District IT specialist, School Nurse, School Social Worker or Family Liaison.
A call menu will provide you with options to direct your call. Once your call is directed, you may be asked to provide your name, phone number, address, your student’s name, the school(s) your child(ren) attend, and what you need help with. The hotline operator will either answer your question or connect you with the School Social worker/Family Liaison assigned to your school.
A representative can provide an email address for your child’s teacher or direct you to an IT specialist if it’s a tech question.
If you’re experiencing a mental health crisis, call the Suicide Prevention Hotline at (800) 273-8255 or if it is an emergency, dial 911.

Los representantes de la línea directa de apoyo no responden a emergencias. En caso de emergencia, llame al 911. Si tiene una crisis de salud mental, llame a la línea directa de prevención de suicidio al (800) 273-8255. La línea directa no proporciona terapia personal ni evaluaciones de suicidio.
De lunes a viernes de 8:00 a.m. a 4:00 p.m.
Los operadores en inglés y español están fácilmente disponibles. Se utilizará un servicio de interpretación para otros idiomas.
Dependiendo de la naturaleza de su llamada, será asistido por un especialista en tecnología del distrito, una enfermera escolar, un trabajador social escolar o un asesor familiar.
El menú de llamadas le proporcionará opciones para dirigir su llamada. Una vez que se dirige su llamada, es posible que se le solicite que proporcione su nombre, número de teléfono, dirección, el nombre de su estudiante, las escuelas a las que asisten sus hijos y el tipo de ayuda que busca. El operador de la línea responderá su pregunta o lo conectará con el trabajador social de la escuela o asesor familiar asignado a su escuela.
