Live Life, Experience the Healthy Way
On September 1st, Provo City School District will be implementing a new wellness program in conjunction with SelectHealth for all current employees, including those that work part-time. This exciting addition to our district will help employees be more active, as well as earn rewards for participating.
Throughout the school year, there will be nine requirements for employees to complete. Some of the requirements are to be completed within 90 days of the start date, while others are within the first 9 months. Some of these tasks include step challenges, online health coaching and a physical held at your location. These requirements will be divided into quarters based on deadlines. Each quarter employees will receive an incentive or reward for completing the assigned tasks. More information on the tasks will come soon.
There will be a kickoff event for the new wellness program held on September 10th from 5:30-7:30 pm.
Save the date–it will be a family event with speakers, giveaways, performances, activities, local vendors and more! Bring your family for a fun night with information on the new wellness program. More details will be given out as the event gets closer, so stay tuned!
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the new wellness program, feel free to reach out to Becca Trippe at beccat@provo.edu or at (801) 370-4655.
