Learning Edge Conference

Registration is now open for the Learning Edge Conference for Administrators being held Tuesday November 14, 2017 at the Provo Marriott from 8:00-3:00. Learning Edge Flier

Lois Hetland, co-author of Studio Thinking, the Real Benefits of Art Education, is the keynote speaker. Her new book, Studio Thinking for Elementary Schools, will be released in spring 2018. I believe she has exceptional information for arts education at all levels and that our state programs will benefit as we learn about, and apply her research.

Performers include One Voice Children’s Chorus, Lauryn Judd, featured singer from the hit TV show the Voice, Samba Fogo- Afro-Brazilian dance and drumming, and Utah State Poet Laureate, Lance Larsen.

Registration for the day is $45. Please forward this information to principals and administrators in your area. Each is encouraged to bring a teacher leader with them. I hope you will join us!!
