Elementary Principals,
The Teaching and Learning Dept. is nearing the end of the process to have access to the new online keyboarding software program “Typing Club” for grades 3-6 students.
We are also in the process of deciding on 4 training dates (one each quarter) for your school keyboarding specialist to come receive training on this software. Please continue in your support of the expectations of students spending time on keyboarding in grades 3-6. We will also be expecting student’s typing speeds to be recorded each quarter on the standards reports in Powerschool as well. There will be more information on how to do this in a few weeks.
1- Identify your building keyboarding specialist to attend the district trainings and their roles in your buildings (teacher or ESP). Send this information to Jared Ferguson jaredf@provo.edu.
