UVU Roots of Knowledge series of stained glass windows chronicles the human quest for intellectual advancement and progress. The panes are vibrantly colored glass paintings and interpretations of world history, including major inventions. It starts with the dawn of humanity and ends with the present day, highlighting world events, historical figures, inventions throughout time, etc.
The Roots of Knowledge DISCOVER program is designed to engage children and teens in their educational experience, with three challenge levels geared to K-6th, 7-9th, and 10-12th grades. Through hands on interaction with the exhibit, we hope to encourage and inspire a connection between education and the outside world. Roots of Knowledge is a tool that will help teachers engage students both in and outside of the classroom.
