The Provo Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) is an innovative high school program in which students are fully immersed in a professional culture, solve real-world problems, and use industry-standard tools while being mentored by actual employers.
Students spend the semester in collaborative groups completing actual projects from local businesses. CAPS is an example of how business, community, and public education can partner to produce personalized learning experiences that educate the workforce of tomorrow.
If you know of any businesses that might be interested in partnering with Provo CAPS by providing a project, becoming a mentor, or by donating funds, please contact Jan Jardine (Provo CAPS Director) @ janj@provo.edu, 801-472-2886. For more information visit provocaps.yourcapsnetwork.org.
